How much does an AI bot cost in 2026? The price has three parts: development from $800, the platform from $60 a month, and optional support from month 2. This kind of bot is also called an AI agent or an AI chatbot.

in short
  • Building an AI bot starts at $800 and usually stays under $1,900. Complex projects cost more.
  • The platform the bot runs on starts at $60 a month, and you pay for it directly.
  • The first month of support is included. After that it's optional: the Basic plan at $280 or the Proactive plan from $450 a month.
  • A custom-built CRM, a catalog of thousands of products, multi-step conversation flows and lots of integrations push the cost up.
  • From payment to the first replies to customers takes about a month: roughly 2 weeks of development and 2 weeks of testing.

Why chatbot prices in search range from zero to five figures

Search for “how much does a chatbot cost” and you'll see everything from $0 for a bot builder to well into five figures. The range is wide because people use the word “chatbot” for very different products.

A button-based bot shows a menu and walks the customer through branches someone mapped out in advance. Type a question in your own words and it won't answer. If your customers' questions are simple and always the same, you can build a bot like that yourself in a bot builder.

An AI bot reads a regular message, a voice note or a photo, answers from your company's knowledge base and creates a lead in your CRM on its own. That's the kind of bot this article is about.

How much it costs to build an AI agent: from $800

Development with us usually costs $800 to $1,900. We give the exact price after a chat and funnel audit for $0.

What affects the price

  • Integrations. If your CRM already connects to the platform out of the box, this part is quick. If it's a custom-built CRM, we connect through its API, and that's a separate piece of work.
  • Knowledge base. A catalog of thousands of products and a one-page price list are very different jobs. In one project, the bot picks products from a catalog of 5,200 items.
  • Conversation flows. Complex multi-step flows and lots of different integrations raise the price the most: CRM, online booking, payments, your internal systems.
  • Channels. The more messaging apps and sites your bot answers customers on, the more setup it takes.

What's included in the price

  • Chat and funnel audit for $0. We look at where leads get lost and what a bot can take over.
  • Bot development. We write the conversation flows and the knowledge base, and set up the bot and its tone of voice based on the brief and your materials.
  • Testing. We test the conversations ourselves, then with a focus group, for example people you know.
  • Launch and the first month of support. For the first weeks after launch, we read the conversations ourselves and keep training the bot.

You pay in two stages: 50% before work begins and 50% when the bot goes live for your customers. You can pay by international card or in USDT. Companies can pay too.

Timeline

From payment to the first replies to real customers usually takes about a month: roughly 2 weeks of development and 2 weeks of testing. The faster we get your materials and feedback, the sooner the bot goes live.

To get started, we need:

  • about 20 full conversations with your customers;
  • your answers to our brief;
  • your CRM funnel with a description of each stage, plus access to it, if you have a CRM;
  • materials on your business: catalog, price list, presentations.

Platform: from $60 a month

The bot runs on a platform that you pay for directly: from $60 a month for the subscription and tokens. The cost depends on your traffic, the bot's settings and a few other things. We'll give you a rough figure during the audit.

Support: optional, from month 2

The first month of support is already included in the development price. After that, it's up to you.

  • Basic plan: $280 a month. You send feedback, we make the changes in batches, and urgent issues get sorted out quickly.
  • Proactive plan: from $450 a month. We watch the conversations ourselves, find the weak spots, improve the logic, add new conversation flows and update the bot for new versions of the AI models and the platform. The price depends on the amount of work.

In my experience, it takes 1-2 months of real traffic for a bot to get really good: by then the conversations show what needs fixing. For a laundry in Bali, we built step-by-step analytics of the bot's actions, and we use them to adjust what the bot offers customers and how it behaves.

You can even see how well the reminders work: the bot nudges a customer after 10 minutes or an hour of silence. Conversion to orders grew from about 25% to 43%.

FAQ

How much does an AI agent cost?

The same as an AI bot: it's a common name for the same product. Development from $800, platform from $60 a month.

Why can a bot cost more than $1,900?

The price goes up with complex multi-step conversation flows, lots of integrations, a custom-built CRM we connect to through its API, and a large catalog of thousands of products. We'll tell you which of these your bot needs during the audit.

Is support required?

No. The first month is included in the price, and after that it's optional. Without support, your only monthly cost is the platform, from $60.

When don't you need a bot?

When you don't get many inquiries. A few times we've advised clients in different niches to hold off on a bot because they had too little traffic. It makes sense to get your advertising working first and come back to the bot once leads start coming in. If you don't need a bot yet, we'll tell you during the audit.

How much does a bot cost, and how can I pay?

Development from $800, Basic plan $280 a month, Proactive plan from $450 a month. You can pay by international card or in USDT.
